The plot revolves around Mr. Quang's extended family returning to their hometown to perform a long-delayed reburial ceremony. They not only face spiritual rituals, but also accidentally trigger a cycle of karmic retribution passed down through generations.

The film is about Mrs. Tam (artist Ai Nhu), a mother with a serious illness. Before passing away, she wanted to live a full life with her children and grandchildren.

In her return to the screen after many years of being attached to the stage, Ai Nhu proved her acting ability. The character of Mrs. Tam, portrayed by the female artist, brought a completely new and profound image of a mother, leaving the audience impressed.
