Renovating 5 school gates to ensure traffic safety

The renovation of these school gates aims to enhance traffic safety, in accordance with current technical standards.

The gate of Nguyen Du High School ( Hai Duong City) will be renovated in the near future.

The People's Committee of Hai Duong province has just decided to renovate the gates of schools including: Tien Tien Primary School, Nguyen Du High School (Hai Duong City), Toan Thang Primary School, Le Loi Primary and Secondary School (Gia Loc).

The school gate area will be supplemented with speed bumps, appropriate traffic safety signs, sidewalk tiles will be replaced, water collection pits will be installed on the sidewalk, the road surface will be widened, trees within the renovation area will be cleared, etc. A traffic safety handbook for the school area will be developed.

Total investment cost is nearly 3.8 billion VND, to be implemented in 2025.

Some school gates such as Toan Thang Primary School, Le Loi Primary School and Secondary School are located near main traffic routes with high traffic volume, so they pose a high risk of insecurity.

The renovation of these school gates aims to enhance traffic safety, comply with current technical standards, improve the efficiency of exploiting traffic infrastructure, and better serve the travel needs of people in the area.
