Renovation and upgrading of the central square in the northwest area of ​​the city

DNO - The Management Board of Priority Infrastructure Investment Projects has just been assigned by the People's Committee to manage and implement the project to renovate and upgrade the central square in the northwest region, in Hoa Minh ward, Lien Chieu district.

Specifically, according to Decision No. 1588/QD-UBND dated May 21, 2025 of the City People's Committee on approving the investment policy for renovating and upgrading the central square in the northwest of the city with a total investment of over 100 billion VND from the city budget; of which construction costs are 63 billion VND and equipment investment is 21.3 billion VND.

According to investment phases, phase 2025-2026 will carry out investment preparation; phase 2026 will implement the project.

The renovation and upgrading will be carried out on an area of ^{​​35,235m2} . The project investment objective is to form a multi-functional square at the provincial level to organize outdoor political , economic, cultural and social events, create green space, and bring landscape value to the urban area in the northwest of the city.
