On the morning of April 29, the Da Nang City Tourism Promotion Center announced that from tonight, April 29, until May 1, Bach Dang Street from the intersection of Phan Dinh Phung Street to Thanh Dien Hai Street will be closed to traffic to serve the 3D Mapping projection at the front of the Da Nang Museum.
Previously, on the nights of April 27 and 28, Da Nang Museum tested 3D Mapping on the front of Bach Dang Street to prepare to serve the people and tourists on the 3 official nights (April 29 - May 1).

This is the first time 3D Mapping has been shown outdoors in a public area in Da Nang City, attracting many passersby to stop their vehicles to watch.
To ensure safety and create a space for the audience to fully enjoy the 3 nights of 3D Mapping screening at the front of the Da Nang Museum building (42 Bach Dang), the organizers decided to ban vehicles on Bach Dang street from 6:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. on the days of the program (April 29 - May 1).
On these nights, there are 2 screenings from 7:30 pm to 8:30 pm and from 9:00 pm to 10:00 pm each night. The road from Phan Dinh Phung intersection to Thanh Dien Hai is closed to traffic, serving only pedestrians to ensure traffic safety.
Mr. Huynh Dinh Quoc Thien, Director of Da Nang Museum, said that this is the first time in Vietnam that the PT-RQ 50K super projector has been used to project a complete 3D Mapping film outdoors on the surface of a building (different from 3D Mapping excerpts at events).
The new Da Nang Museum was renovated from the French City Hall, now 125 years old.

The power of the PT-RQ50K projector system can display images in daylight conditions, but the effects reach their maximum, serving visitors to enjoy the most at night. In addition, there is a system of 7 high-tech projectors with brightness of 30,000 lumens or more, bringing surreal, vivid images, brightening up the facade of the Da Nang Museum with the 3D Mapping film "The Story of Da Nang".
Mr. Vo Thanh Nha Thanh, the program's technical director, said: "The PT-RQ50K projection system was used at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic opening ceremony and the Tokyo Night & Light program in 2024. Da Nang City is pioneering the application of Asia's leading projection technology to bring new experiences to residents and tourists."
