(CT) - Can Tho City People's Committee has just issued Action Plan No. 122/KH-UBND to ensure food quality and safety, increase processing and develop the agricultural, forestry and fishery market by 2025 in the city.

The city sets the target: 100% of legal documents, standards, regulations, and norms are reviewed, proposed for amendment and supplementation according to the direction of the Government and central ministries and branches; 100% of agencies in the city review and improve the quality management system, processing and developing the agricultural, forestry and fishery market to ensure sufficient resources to implement tasks in accordance with the assignment and decentralization of management; over 90% of civil servants in charge of quality management, food safety, processing and developing the agricultural, forestry and fishery market at all levels are trained, coached, and updated on professional expertise. The rate of agricultural, forestry and fishery production and trading establishments certified to meet food safety conditions according to regulations reaches 99%; the rate of small-scale agricultural, forestry and fishery production and trading establishments signing a commitment to comply with food safety regulations reaches 95%; The rate of agricultural, forestry and fishery food samples monitored to meet food safety requirements reached 99%.
