Phu My dry port, Ba Ria - Vung Tau officially came into operation. This is the first dry port in the province and the third dry port in the Southern region.

On October 28, Thanh Binh Phu My Joint Stock Company (Ba Ria-Vung Tau province) held a ceremony to announce Phu My dry port at Phu My 3 specialized industrial park (Phu My town).
Phu My dry port has a total area of 37.8 hectares, divided into 2 phases, of which phase 1 is 15 hectares.
This is the first dry port in Ba Ria-Vung Tau province that integrates and fully packages core services and logistics services.
The port is planned according to main subdivisions such as the inland waterway wharf area with an area of 8,835m2, wharf length of 581m; warehouse area with a total area of 56,962m2; yard area with an area of 167,423m2, total investment capital of more than 2,992 billion VND.
Phu My dry port was formed from the need to optimize the transport of import and export goods of Ba Ria-Vung Tau province to neighboring economic corridors, becoming a logistics center of the seaport; connecting with dry ports far from the seaport associated with goods distribution and consumption centers, road and waterway border gates to improve the efficiency of transport network connections, promote multimodal transport, reduce costs of transport and logistics services.

Phu My Dry Port provides a multimodal, integrated, and comprehensive logistics service ecosystem with core services such as multimodal transportation services, loading and unloading services, packing and unpacking of goods, inspection and completion of customs procedures for import and export goods, repair, cleaning and maintenance of containers, warehousing and storage services and other logistics services.
Vice Chairman of Ba Ria - Vung Tau Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Cong Vinh said that Phu My dry port is an "extended arm" of Cai Mep - Thi Vai port cluster. At the same time, this is also an important premise for the development of port logistics services in Ba Ria - Vung Tau province in a synchronous and modern manner.
