Warning about the trick of using "0 VND" tours to sell poor quality products

Hung Yen police warn people to be wary of “zero-dong” tours, as many people take advantage of this form to advertise and sell poor quality functional products for illegal profits.

Hung Yen Provincial Police have just issued a warning to people about taking advantage of cheap tours and "zero-dong" tourism to make illegal profits.

According to Hung Yen Provincial Police, recently a number of organizations and individuals from outside the province have contacted local socio-political organizations to organize free consultation and medical examination and treatment programs combined with free sightseeing and tourism for members.

However, during the health consultation process, the subjects have incorporated advertisements and offered functional products with many tricks such as buying directly on the spot; buying 2 products, only having to pay for 1 product and paying the rest within 1 month or buying 1 product and getting 1 product for free...

These products are all expensive, while their origin and quality are unclear and inconsistent.

Notably, through free tourism and sightseeing activities, the subjects collect personal information and phone numbers of participants to continue to contact them for sales consultation (mostly functional products) of unclear origin at high prices.

This is an act of taking advantage of cheap, "0 VND" tours to make illegal profits.

To prevent activities that take advantage of cheap tourism and "zero-dong" tourism, Hung Yen Provincial Police recommend that when people are invited to participate in these tours, they need to carefully research information about the organizing business, the detailed schedule of the tour, especially tours that introduce many free benefits and incorporate advertisements and sales of functional products.

When detecting any suspicion related to fraudulent behavior or profiteering, people need to immediately discuss with the authorities for timely handling according to the provisions of the law./.
