Specifically, My Thuan station is 2.23m, Cho Lach is 2.13m, Can Tho is 2.35m, Tra Vinh is 2.12m, Cau Quan is 2.10m, My Hoa is 1.86m, Ben Trai is 1.98m, Binh Dai is 1.87m, An Thuan is 1.81m, exceeding alarm level III by 11-43cm.
Warning: From now until November 9, flooding will occur between 3-8am and 4-8pm, depending on the location. Areas near the sea will be flooded earlier. Maximum flooding depth: will depend on the location and the daily tides, ranging from 40-80cm depending on the location. Flood risk warning level: level 2.
High tides are likely to flood low-lying areas across the province. Flooding is likely to have a negative impact on the environment, road and waterway traffic activities, and residential areas; especially the areas from Phu Tuc commune (Tien river), Tien Thuy commune - Vinh Thanh commune - Phuoc My Trung commune (Ham Luong river), Thanh Thoi commune - Nhi Long commune - Long Duc ward (Co Chien river), Tan Hoa commune (Hau river) and above; there is a possibility of deep flooding in riverside areas, areas outside the dyke, some roads in Thanh Duc, Phuoc Hau, Long Chau, Tan Ngai wards..., National Highway 57; other low-lying areas, weak dyke areas - without and outside the dyke, areas of islets, islands, riverside areas, and coastal areas.
The possibility of riverbank erosion due to high tides combined with upstream floods can have a negative impact on the environment, boat traffic, and socio -economic activities will be affected during the time of high tides; especially in weak dike areas, sandbanks, islands, and riverside areas throughout the province.
