On March 16, the Food Safety Department ( Ministry of Health ) warned that nearly 20 health protection products violatedadvertising regulations.
Specifically, the website https://trungtamthuoc.com/medispores-biota and some other addresses advertise the product Medispores Biota as having the effect of supplementing probiotics, improving intestinal microflora disorders, increasing the body's ability to absorb nutrients; overcoming harmful reactions caused by antibiotics... This content has not been confirmed by a competent state agency, violating the provisions of the law on food advertising.

Nine other health food products are also being advertised by many online sales websites such as https://nhathuocminhchau.com; lazada; https://parapharmacy.vn/product... and some other websites in violation of the law.

Many products violating advertising regulations have been "whistled" by authorities.
The Food Safety Department has determined that the links on these websites violate the law on advertising when the content has not been confirmed by a competent state agency. At the same time, it recommends that consumers do not rely on false advertising content about products on the above links to buy and use, which can pose a risk to health.
Currently, the Food Safety Department is coordinating with relevant agencies to verify and handle the case according to current regulations. The Food Safety Department will publish the results of the handling on its website at: https://vfa.gov.vn/ and the public health portal at https://congkhaiyte.moh.gov.vn/.
Previously, this agency has repeatedly warned about products violating advertising regulations, including common ones such as false advertising; advertising without confirmation from a competent state agency; advertising functional foods that have the same effect as medicine; taking advantage of the name and reputation of medical staff and medical facilities to advertise... affecting the rights and health of consumers.
