Issued over 300 new business registration certificates

(QBĐT) - According to the report of the Department of Planning and Investment (DPI), in the first 7 months of 2024, the unit issued 329 new business registration certificates (BCCs) with a registered capital of more than VND 5,270 billion; of which, in July alone, there were 54 enterprises with a registered capital of VND 533 billion.

Representatives of organizations and enterprises come to transact at the one-stop department of the Department of Planning and Investment at the Provincial Public Administration Service Center.

The number of newly registered enterprises in the first 7 months of 2024 is equivalent to the same period in 2023, however, the registered capital increased by more than 47%. Also during this period, there were 29 dissolved enterprises, 317 enterprises temporarily suspended operations and 156 enterprises resumed operations.

With the increased number of enterprises, according to statistics on the National Database on Enterprise Registration, up to now the total number of enterprises in the province has reached more than 8,830 enterprises, with a total registered capital of more than 117,640 billion VND.

According to the assessment of the Provincial Business Association, despite many difficulties and challenges, the force of entrepreneurs and enterprises in the province has made strong progress in both quantity and quality. Thereby, it has actively contributed to the economic restructuring and accelerated economic growth.

The number of newly registered enterprises did not increase compared to the same period in 2023, but the registered capital increased by more than 47%.

Every year, enterprises contribute over 45% of GDP, over 60% of total budget revenue in the balance sheet, creating jobs for over 100,000 regular workers and tens of thousands of seasonal workers, accounting for nearly 28% of the labor force of the whole society.
