Commendation and reward for 119 collectives and individuals in the emulation movement "Good workers - Creative workers"

DTO - On the morning of May 27, at the Dong Thap Trade Union Labor Culture House (Ward 1, Cao Lanh City), the Standing Committee of the Provincial Labor Federation (PPF) held a conference to summarize 5 years of implementing the emulation movement "Excellent Labor - Creative Labor" for the period 2020 - 2025. Comrades: Thai Thu Xuong - Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor; Nguyen Thi Kim Tuyen - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission; Kieu The Lam - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council attended.

Over the past 5 years, the Trade Unions at all levels in the province have actively launched the emulation movement "Excellent workers - Creative workers" among union members and workers, thereby strongly arousing the spirit of patriotic emulation, dynamism and creativity, overcoming difficulties, promoting production and business to ensure efficiency, and completing professional tasks well. Each agency, unit and enterprise has developed a plan to launch the emulation movement to promote initiatives, improve techniques, improve productivity and quality, bringing practical benefits to the agency, unit and enterprise.

Unions at all levels, union members and workers registered to implement 764 projects, models and practical jobs; there were 35,627 effective topics and initiatives with a total value of tens of billions of VND. Topics and initiatives were applied in practice, contributing to improving labor productivity, product quality, as well as improving working conditions, innovating management in all fields, especially focusing on areas such as: production, business;education ; health; management, administration.

Speaking at the conference, Comrade Thai Thu Xuong - Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor highly appreciated the results achieved in the emulation movement "Excellent Labor - Creative Labor" of all levels of the Dong Thap Provincial Trade Union. Those results demonstrate the diligence, spirit of overcoming difficulties, diligence, and creativity of cadres, union members, and workers, especially creating the typical mark of Dong Thap people "Patriotic, united, honest, self-reliant, hard-working, cooperative, loyal, dynamic, creative". Continuing to promote the achieved results, the Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor requested Party committees, authorities, and socio-political organizations in the province to identify the emulation movement "Excellent Labor - Creative Labor" as not only the task of the Trade Union organization but also the common task of the entire political system, in which the Trade Union organization plays a core role.

Pay attention to innovating the content and form of organizing emulation in a practical, specific and close direction to the political tasks and professional requirements of each unit. Each grassroots union needs to have at least 1 model, 1 creative solution or 1 typical technical innovation initiative every year. Union organizations need to proactively discover, foster and replicate advanced examples, creating a favorable environment for workers to boldly propose new ideas, dare to think, dare to do, dare to break through. At the same time, promptly commend and reward collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in the emulation movement "Good workers - Creative workers", associated with widely disseminating advanced examples, good examples, creative workers on mass media and within enterprises to create positive effects, encourage cadres, union members, workers in performing tasks at agencies, units, enterprises...

Collectives and individuals received Certificates of Merit from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for their outstanding achievements in the emulation movement "Good workers - Creative workers"

On this occasion, the whole province had 19 collectives and 100 individuals receiving Certificates of Merit from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and Certificates of Merit from the Executive Committee of the Provincial Federation of Labor for their outstanding achievements in the emulation movement "Good workers - Creative workers" for the period 2020 - 2025.
