Lion and dragon dance performances have long been more than just a folk art; they are also symbols of good fortune, prosperity, and courage. Each jump, each drum beat, each leap across the plum blossom valley is the culmination of skill, passion, and perseverance.
At this year's tournament, Long Nghia Duong Club not only performed traditional acts but also incorporated modern elements. The club's goal wasn't just medals; they – sons and daughters born and raised in the revolutionary homeland of Thai Nguyen – came to tell the story of a heroic land, rich in traditions of nation-building and defense, and now developing alongside the nation.
The dance performance "Green Dragon of the War Zone" – where light, effects, and movements blended together – created a captivating visual art space, completely winning over the judges and more than 1,000 spectators present at the Dak Lak Provincial Sports Arena.

After three days of dramatic and emotional competition, Long Nghia Duong Club excellently won first place overall with the following achievements: 2 Gold medals in the "Luminous Dragon Dance" and "Traditional Dragon Dance" events; a Silver medal in the "Speed Dragon Dance" event; and 2 Bronze medals in the "Mai Hoa Thung Nam" and "Mai Hoa Thung Nam and Mistress" events. This helped the club affirm its position not only in terms of professional skills but also in spirit, effort, and perseverance.
Long Nghia Duong Club's victory at the 2025 Championship is clear proof that tradition is not outdated; it just needs to be retold in the language of the youth, set in a place where each performance is a symphony of past and present – where national spirit blends with contemporary creativity, creating a new, relatable, and inspiring artistic symbol. It is the responsibility, the love, the belief, and the aspiration to preserve national identity that continues to be written, from Thai Nguyen to every region of the country.
