On the occasion of its 80th anniversary, the Military School of Military Region 7 was honored to receive a Letter of Commendation from the Minister of National Defense .

On December 12, 1945, in An Son commune, Thu Dau Mot, Binh Duong (now Thuan An ward, Ho Chi Minh City), the Military Political School of Military Region 7, the predecessor of the Military School of Military Region 7, was established. Over 80 years of development, combat, and growth, the Military School of Military Region 7 has consistently proven itself a leading center for training and developing human resources for the armed forces of Military Region 7 and other agencies and units of the Ministry of National Defense in the South.

On behalf of the President of Vietnam, Major General Le Xuan The, Commander of Military Region 7, presented the Second Class Order of National Defense to the Military School of Military Region 7.

Currently, 100% of the officers and teachers at the Military School of Military Region 7 hold university and postgraduate degrees; including 3 PhDs, 46 Master's degrees, 2 outstanding teachers, and a reserve of 2 PhDs and 10 Master's degrees. Models such as "Excellent Teaching Department," "Exemplary Management Officer," and "Top 3 Classes" have proven effective, creating strong motivation to promote self-study, self-improvement, and the enhancement of professional skills and military pedagogical capabilities. Annually, the school manages and trains 19 groups across 54 specialties; collaborates in national defense and security education for students from 27 colleges and universities; and trains over 35,000 students and trainees.

Delivering a speech at the anniversary ceremony, Colonel Bui Dinh Thanh, Political Commissar of the Military School of Military Region 7, emphasized: The school has been upholding the tradition of "Proactive creativity, close adherence to reality, excellent teaching and learning, continuous growth," continuing to achieve many outstanding accomplishments in education and training, maintaining an exemplary military cultural environment, creating a "bright, green, clean, beautiful, and standardized" pedagogical environment, and meeting the requirements of the new situation. The school strives to basically complete the 8 groups of criteria for building a smart school as prescribed by the Ministry of National Defense by 2030.

Speaking at the ceremony, Major General Le Xuan The, Commander of Military Region 7, acknowledged and praised the outstanding achievements of the Military School of Military Region 7 in the past period; and at the same time requested the school to focus on successfully fulfilling its assigned political tasks; including implementing comprehensive solutions to improve the quality of training, organizing synchronized, in-depth, practical training, adhering to the correct principles, viewpoints, and combinations; combining training with physical fitness training for students, improving mobility in all conditions, and ensuring absolute safety.

The school continues to uphold the motto "The quality of the school's training is the combat readiness of the unit," innovating the content and methods of education and training, cultivating work methods and styles, equipping students with comprehensive knowledge and capabilities to meet the training objectives and requirements and the practical needs of the unit, and proactively promoting the development of science and technology, innovation, and digital transformation in the field of education and training. At the same time, the school needs to focus on building a truly clean and strong Party organization; and decisively and effectively implement the action program to carry out the Resolution of the Party Congress at all levels for the 2025-2030 term.

At the ceremony, the Military School of Military Region 7 was honored to receive the Second Class Order of National Defense for its outstanding achievements during the 2020-2025 period.
