Amad scored all the goals for MU in the second half.

In the final minute of the match, the Ivorian player volleyed the ball straight into the bottom corner of the goal, saving the "Red Devils" from defeat. Notably, this was Amad's 10th goal for MU in the Premier League and all were scored in the second half, a unique record in the history of the tournament.

This season, the 23-year-old has been deployed regularly at right-back in a new formation and has formed a good partnership with new signing Bryan Mbeumo. Despite a difficult start at Old Trafford, Amad has matured significantly during his loan spell at Sunderland, returning to become a key player.

Last season, he scored 11 goals in all competitions and just opened his account this season against Forest. However, Amad is likely to miss 7 matches next month when he joins the Ivory Coast national team for the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).

Sharing after the match, Amad told Sky Sports : "I don't know if it was the best goal of the season, but it's a pity that we only got one point. The whole team is confident, trusting the coach and the system. We will continue to work hard to move forward."

According to SofaScore , Amad had an 82% passing accuracy, made 19 passes in the Forest half, had 4 shots (3 on target) and had 69 touches. He also had 2 successful saves and was the most effective attacking link in the wing-back role, outperforming Patrick Dorgu or Diogo Dalot.

However, Amad's defensive ability is still a point that worries coach Ruben Amorim, as both goals MU conceded against Forest came from crosses from the wing he was in charge of.
