The return friendly match between the Vietnam women's team and the Ho Chi Minh City women's club took place on the afternoon of November 4 in Hanoi with a score of 2-1 in favor of the team from the city named after Uncle Ho. All 3 goals were scored by the strikers.

Huynh Nhu and Le Hoai Luong were the scorers for the HCMC Women's Club. On the Vietnam women's team side, Nguyen Thi Thanh Nha was the one to score. This is good news for both head coach Doan Thi Kim Chi of the HCMC Women's Club and coach Mai Duc Chung of the Vietnam women's team.

In the first leg friendly match on November 1, the Vietnamese women's team won with a score of 3-2. Nguyen Thi Van, Ngan Thi Van Su and Nguyen Thi Bich Thuy were the three players who scored for the Vietnamese women's team.

On the side of Ho Chi Minh City Women's Club, center back Aubrey Goodwill scored 1 goal, the remaining goal was scored by Ngo Thi Hong Nhung when she crossed the ball and hit Tran Thi Duyen's body, flying into the net.

After this match, the Vietnamese women's team will have two more friendly matches with veteran men's teams, before going to Japan for training from November 20 to prepare for the 33rd SEA Games.

With Ho Chi Minh City Women's Club, coach Kim Chi and her team are actively training for the group stage of the 2025 - 2026 AFC Champions League Women's Team.

After 3 group stage matches (November 13, 16 and 19), Ho Chi Minh City Women's Club will release the camp so that a group of players including Huynh Nhu, Cu Thi Huynh Nhu, Chuong Thi Kieu, Quach Thu Em... can join the Vietnamese women's team to go to Japan.

When arriving in Japan, the Vietnamese women's team is expected to play 3 more friendly matches with local clubs, so that coach Mai Duc Chung can have a basis to select the best personnel for the main squad, aiming to defend the SEA Games women's football gold medal.
