VFF President Tran Quoc Tuan once again congratulated the national women's team for successfully winning a ticket to the 2026 Asian Cup Finals (taking place in Australia in March 2026).

VFF President Tran Quoc Tuan emphasized the special results when currently there are 5 teams that have won the right to enter the 2026 Asian Finals, namely: Women's team, Men's Futsal team, U23 team, U17 women's team and U20 women's team.
This is the result of in-depth investment and shows solid inheritance between generations of Vietnamese female players.

Vietnam women's football team is still number 1 in Southeast Asia
Looking ahead to the upcoming 33rd SEA Games, President Tran Quoc Tuan noted that the team's key task is to defend the regional championship title and to accomplish this, the team needs to be well prepared both professionally and mentally.
For VFF, a specific plan has been developed, including a training trip to Nagoya (Japan) in November. This is an important step to help the team improve their physical strength and compete with high-quality teams.
President Tran Quoc Tuan affirmed that the Federation will ensure the best logistics so that the team can focus completely on expertise.
According to the draw results, at the 33rd SEA Games, the women's team is in the same group as the Philippines, Myanmar and Malaysia. The group is considered not easy because the opponents have made strong progress, especially the Philippines with many naturalized players.

Therefore, Mr. Tran Quoc Tuan noted that the coaching staff and players need to continue to research and carefully analyze opponents to maximize the team's strengths.
The fact that there are young faces in this training session is highly appreciated by VFF leaders, contributing to bringing a new breeze to the women's team.
President Tran Quoc Tuan hopes that the players will always try their best, overcome their own limits, maintain the spirit of solidarity, discipline and confidence. VFF will always accompany and create the best conditions for the team to achieve the set goals at SEA Games 33.
