FIFA President sends congratulatory letter to Ho Chi Minh City Women's Club for national championship achievement

VHO - Information from the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) said that President of the World Football Federation (FIFA) - Gianni Infantino sent a congratulatory letter to VFF President Tran Quoc Tuan and Ho Chi Minh City Women's Football Club I after successfully winning the 2025 National Women's Football Championship.

In the letter, FIFA President Gianni Infantino emphasized: “The tireless efforts and achievements of Ho Chi Minh City Women's Club I throughout the season have paid off, bringing home this important title. Congratulations to each member of the team and the club for this great achievement.”

FIFA President Gianni Infantino also thanked VFF and VFF President Tran Quoc Tuan for their unceasing support, efforts and dedication to the development of Vietnamese women's football and expressed his hope to meet VFF President Tran Quoc Tuan again soon.

This is a special congratulation from the head of FIFA, showing the recognition of world football for the continuous efforts of Vietnamese women's football in general and Ho Chi Minh City Women's Club I in particular.

The 2025 national championship title continues to affirm the leading position of the Ho Chi Minh City I women's football team - a club with a rich tradition and great contributions to the development of women's football in the country.

Ho Chi Minh City Women's Club I set a national championship record with 14 times

After 10 rounds of the 2025 National Women's Football Championship, the team led by coach Doan Thi Kim Chi had 6 wins, 3 draws and 1 loss, reaching 21 points.

This is the 14th national championship of Ho Chi Minh City Women's Club I after 2002, 2004, 2005, 2010, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024.

Currently, coach Doan Thi Kim Chi and her team are preparing for the 2025/2026 Asian Women's Club Championship, taking place in Ho Chi Minh City in mid-November.
