Contributing to recreating the country's historical years are reports spanning 20 years, along with the appearance of many historical witnesses, helping the audience, especially young people, understand the historical context that forced our people to take up arms to protect independence, expressing the will "Nothing is more precious than independence and freedom!".

These were reports on the support of the North to the South, the Youth Volunteers' Departure Ceremony at the Opera House, the 1968 Tet Offensive, the battle in Quang Tri in 1972, Hanoi Dien Bien Phu in the Air in 1972, the 1973 Paris Agreement, and the 1975 Spring General Offensive and Uprising.

Notably, at the Ho Chi Minh City bridge, there will be a meeting and exchange of memorabilia between an American veteran and a family of a martyr in Vietnam. Mr. Adolph Novello, while participating in the war in Vietnam, collected many documents. He brought those memorabilia and papers back to the US, kept them in a box for 50 years and wished to return these documents and memorabilia to the martyr's family.

The meeting and exchange of souvenirs with relatives right on the stage of the program was an emotional highlight of understanding, sympathy and the desire to close the past and move towards the future.
