When stopping at the tomb of Hero Nup - an outstanding son of the Central Highlands mountains and forests, an indomitable symbol in the resistance against the French and the Americans - People's Artist Nguyen Thi Thanh Thuy spent a lot of time in silent commemoration. She expressed: "I have read and heard a lot about Hero Nup, but it was not until I stood in front of his tomb with my own eyes that I clearly felt the simple greatness in that man. A wordless mountain, but steadfast for generations."
With a thoughtful look in her eyes, she added: “People like Hero Nup do not need many monuments. His silent presence in the people’s memories and in the minds of artists and writers is the most vivid and lasting monument.”

As an artist who is involved in music and cultural management, People's Artist Nguyen Thi Thanh Thuy considers trips like this as valuable material to fuel her creative flow. “When we touch history with all our hearts, art will no longer be an imitation but will become a true voice of memory and gratitude. This is an opportunity for artists to have more material to tell the story of the country in a deeper way, closer to today's generation.”
Closing the ceremony, the delegation continued to move along the journey back to the source, but the echoes of Gia Lai land and the majestic silence of Hero Nup's tomb seemed to still linger for a long time in the hearts of the artists.
