Termination of Lien Khuong Waterfall Tourist Area project

(LĐ online) - The People's Committee of Lam Dong province has just issued a document approving the policy of terminating the investment project "Lien Khuong Waterfall Tourist Area" of Hoa Binh Film Studio Company Limited in Duc Trong district.

The reason for project termination is that the enterprise has not completed investment preparation procedures and has not yet implemented the operational objectives of the investment project.

This decision was made after the Provincial Department of Finance issued Report No. 195/BC-STC dated May 9, 2025, evaluating the inspection results and proposing to terminate the project. Accordingly, Hoa Binh Film Studio Company Limited has not completed investment preparation procedures, has not implemented the committed goals, and violated the provisions of Clause 10, Article 2 of the Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Planning, the Law on Investment, the Law on Investment under the Public-Private Partnership method and the Law on Bidding 2024.

The Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Finance to carry out procedures to terminate the project and handle the deposit in accordance with regulations. The Tax Department of Region XIII was requested to review, identify and urge the implementation of financial obligations related to the project. The Duc Trong District People's Committee will strengthen the management of construction order, land and activities in the area after the project ends.

Hoa Binh Film Studio Company Limited is responsible for strictly terminating operations, self-liquidating the project according to legal regulations and completing financial obligations to the State.
