Chau Thanh: Visiting religious establishments on the occasion of Buddha's Birthday

District leaders visited and presented gifts to the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha of Chau Thanh district at Ngoc Nhu pagoda (Hao Duoc commune).

On behalf of the district leaders, Secretary of the District Party Committee Truong Van Hoan visited the activities and sent congratulations to the Venerables, members of the Executive Committee of the Buddhist Sangha, monks, nuns and Buddhists of Chau Thanh district to welcome the Great Festival season in peace and happiness.

The District Party Secretary hopes that in the coming time, the Venerables, monks, nuns and Buddhists will continue to promote the fine traditions of the nation, actively participate in patriotic emulation movements, contribute to social security activities; build and consolidate the great national unity bloc, and build the locality to develop more and more.

On the same day, Mr. Nguyen Tri Cuong - Vice Chairman of the District People's Committee and the working delegation visited and presented gifts to congratulate the Buddha's birthday to monks, nuns and Buddhists at Tu Phuoc Pagoda (Thanh Dien Commune).
