Fire at hotel in old quarter, next to Thang Long Primary School

(PLVN) - At around 10:00 a.m. this morning (April 22), a fire broke out at Hanoi Center Silk Lullaby Hotel, located at 16 Ngo Tram, Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi. Fortunately, no casualties were recorded.

According to initial information, the fire broke out in the attic area of ​​the Hanoi Center Silk Lullaby Hotel, which is used to store blankets, sheets, pillows, and mattresses.

Upon receiving the fire alarm, the Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Rescue Police force quickly mobilized vehicles and personnel to the scene, organized fire extinguishment and ensured safety for surrounding people.

After about 15 minutes, the fire was controlled and completely extinguished. The cause of the fire was initially determined to be an electrical short circuit.

Notably, the scene of the fire is located next to Thang Long Primary School. When smoke and fire were detected coming from the hotel building, the school teachers proactively evacuated and moved students to the dangerous area, ensuring absolute safety for all students, staff and teachers.

Authorities are continuing to assess property damage and investigate the cause of the fire.
