According to initial information, at around 11:40 a.m. on April 9, people discovered a fire breaking out in a factory area near Tho Quang fishing port (Vung Thung 9 Street, Son Tra District). Some witnesses at the scene of the factory fire said that the fire started in a warehouse specializing in storing foam boxes, tires, etc., so the fire quickly spread to neighboring factories.

When the fire was discovered, workers at the factory quickly used water and mini fire extinguishers to put it out, but were unsuccessful because the factory contained flammable materials, and the fire quickly flared up.
