(NLDO) - Authorities have mobilized more than 1,000 people and many vehicles to control the forest fire in Tuyen Quang province.
On the morning of March 22, according to a quick report from the People's Committee of Yen Son district, at around 12 o'clock last night, at lot 15, section 559, map according to decision 248 of the People's Committee of Tuyen Quang province in the Nghiem mountain area, Hoang Khai commune, Yen Son district, a forest fire broke out.

Upon receiving the news, the authorities mobilized over 1,000 people, including military, police, militia and self-defense forces, along with people from Hoang Khai commune and neighboring localities. They are still trying to approach and deploy rescue measures. Many firebreaks were quickly cleared to prevent the fire from spreading. By 00:00 on March 22, the fire at Nghiem mountain in Hoang Khai commune (Yen Son) was basically under control. According to initial statistics, about 20 hectares of forest were burned.
The initial cause of the forest fire was determined to be due to people burning vegetation on the farm, due to dry weather and strong winds leading to the fire being uncontrolled and spreading to surrounding areas.
