Over 23 billion VND to support 376 households whose houses were damaged by natural disasters

The Tuyen Quang Provincial Relief Committee has just issued Decision No. 383/QD-MTTQ-BVDCT on supporting households whose houses have been damaged by natural disasters.

According to this decision, more than 23 billion VND taken from the relief fund received at the account of the Provincial Relief Mobilization Committee will be transferred to the accounts of the Relief Mobilization Committees of 59 communes and wards to support 376 households whose houses were damaged by natural disasters, to renovate and repair houses.

Of these, 205 households were supported to build new houses with an amount of over 16.5 billion VND; 171 households were supported to repair houses with a total cost of nearly 6.6 billion VND.

The specific support level for poor households building new houses is 100 million VND/household, near-poor households is 80 million VND/household, other households is 70 million VND/household. The specific support level for poor households repairing houses is 50 million VND/household, near-poor households is 40 million VND/household, other households is 30 million VND/household.

The Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the Relief Mobilization Committees of communes and wards receive relief funds; closely coordinate with the People's Committees at the same level to deploy support, ensuring timely, appropriate purposes, appropriate beneficiaries, publicity, transparency and efficiency of the supported funds.
