Artist Tan Beo when he was still healthy
On November 4, relatives said that after more than a year of fighting the after-effects of a stroke, comedian Tan Beo's health has seriously declined.
Doctors diagnosed that his kidney function was almost completely exhausted, forcing him to undergo regular dialysis to maintain life.
Tan Beo - A resilient treatment journey
Previously, artist Tan Beo had undergone a long period of treatment after a stroke, leaving many sequelae affecting his movement and daily activities. He was treated at a traditional medicine facility, his family said that at that time his health was stable, some artists visited and filmed short clips showing that he could sit and chat, even sing with comedian Tan Hoang.
But now he also has many underlying diseases such as high blood pressure, diabetes and ischemic heart disease - factors that make the progression of kidney failure faster and more complicated.
At the hospital where he is being treated, doctors have placed a hand bridge in preparation for regular dialysis. He is being treated according to a specialized protocol with a strict diet: low protein, limited salt, fat and red meat. Despite his declining health, he still tries to eat moderately, talk clearly and persevere in physical therapy every day.

Tan Beo - Memories of devoting himself to his profession
Artist Tan Beo was born in 1963, comes from a family with a tradition of reformed opera and soon established his name in the field of comedy theater. Before that, he planned to be a handsome actor on the reformed opera stage when he joined the troupe managed by his parents: Tan Tai - Nhu Ngoc.
But then, because he could not have the same voice as his father, could not sing the soulful vọng cổ that made him famous like his father, the artist Tân Tài, he turned to become a comedian. At first, he followed the Kim Ngoc comedy group, then became attached to the comedian Mỹ Chi, and then officially founded the comedy group Tân Beo – Tấn Bo in the 2000s.
