Proposal to reward 2 people who saved the life of a woman who jumped off La Nga bridge

(DN) - On October 24, La Nga Commune Police (Dong Nai Province) proposed that the La Nga Commune People's Committee reward two people who bravely and promptly saved the life of a woman who jumped off La Nga Bridge at noon on October 23.

According to initial information, at approximately 12:20 PM on October 23rd, Mr. Luu Quoc Tuan (45 years old, residing in Tan Phu commune) was riding his motorbike across La Nga bridge when he noticed Ms. VTN (residing in La Nga commune) behaving unusually, climbing onto the bridge railing and then jumping into the river. Recognizing the critical situation, without hesitation, Mr. Tuan immediately turned his motorbike around, shouted for help from nearby people, and quickly jumped into the La Nga river to rescue her.

At the same time, Mr. Nguyen Van Muot (66 years old, residing in La Nga commune), who was living on a raft near the bridge, heard the cries for help and promptly swam out to assist. Immediately afterward, Ms. N. was brought safely ashore, received medical care, her mental state stabilized, and she was taken into custody by the La Nga commune police for processing according to regulations.
