"Sold out" tickets for Son Doong cave exploration tour in 2024

According to information from Oxalis Company, the only unit operating tours to the world's largest cave Son Doong, this expedition tour is fully booked for the whole year 2024. Many domestic and foreign tourists have booked tickets for this cave tour in 2025.

This expedition tour is an underground journey, exploring the masterpieces of majestic stalactites, underground rivers, and large sinkholes. Son Doong Cave was discovered by Mr. Ho Khanh in Phong Nha town (Bo Trach district, Quang Binh province) in 1990; it is the largest cave in the world with a volume of more than 38 million m3 .

Son Doong Cave Expedition Tour is currently considered the most expensive and attractive tour in Vietnam with a ticket price of about 72 million VND/person for a 6-day, 5-night journey. Each tour has 10 explorers and about 30 service people including cave safety experts, guides, safety assistants, chefs, rangers and porters for luggage, food, and camping equipment.
