For high schools in the central area, the majority of the enrollment quotas have not been met due to high admission scores. In addition, according to Mr. Nam, in this year's 10th grade entrance exam, more than 20,000 students were not admitted to public schools, but only more than 1,000 students registered for additional enrollment. This shows that most of them have other options such as private schools, vocational training centers, colleges, vocational secondary schools, etc.

The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training will study and calculate adjustments to the 10th grade admission plan for the 2024-2025 school year.
