Fisheries Surveillance Team No. 4 supports Khanh Hoa in responding to floods

On the afternoon of November 21, Fisheries Surveillance Team No. 4 under the Fisheries Surveillance Department (Ministry of Agriculture and Environment) mobilized 50 officers and fisheries surveillance officers along with vehicles such as rubber boats, personal life jackets and round buoys to support people in Ninh Hoa ward and Ba Ngoi ward (Khanh Hoa province).

The team's forces promptly approached the deeply flooded areas and organized the evacuation of 40 people from the danger zone to safety.

The leaders of Fisheries Control Team No. 4 continued to direct and directly go to each household to distribute 617 gifts including instant noodles and drinking water, ensuring timely support for people in the conditions of prolonged rain and floods. The team also promptly organized to take a patient named Tran Thi Dieu (73 years old, Diem Tinh residential group) with severe high blood pressure to a medical facility for emergency treatment.

Also in the afternoon of the same day, the force of the Squad continued to move to Xuan Hoa 2 group to provide necessities to 100 households (each household received 2 gifts); at the same time, supported the transportation of 7 people from Xuan Hoa area to Ben Ganh (Xuan Hoa 1), ensuring absolute safety.

The timely and responsible activities of Fisheries Control Team No. 4 have made an important contribution to supporting people in responding to and overcoming the consequences of floods, clearly demonstrating the force's spirit of serving the people.

According to the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa province, in recent days, floods in Khanh Hoa province have been complicated, many areas are deeply flooded, greatly affecting the lives and properties of people. Forces from the Army, Border Guard, Militia and Self-Defense Force, and Provincial Police are constantly on duty, organizing evacuation and rescue of people in flooded areas.

Khanh Hoa also received aid and support from forces from units under the Ministry of National Defense and Military Region 5 such as: Air Defense Division 377, Engineering Brigade 293, Naval Region 4, Infantry Division 305, Water Commando Brigade 5, Naval Academy, Navy Squadron 32, Air Force Officer School, Fisheries Control Squadron No. 4... with a total of about 16,000 people to rescue and help people in the context of heavy rain and flooding.
