According to the report of the Department of Finance, in the 10 component indexes of the Provincial Competitiveness Index (PCI) in 2024, Vinh Phuc has 2/10 indexes increasing in points and rankings, including the transparency index. This is one of the most important indexes, determining the increase or decrease in PCI rankings.

This index is assessed through two aspects: businesses' access to information and businesses' opportunities to participate in the policy making process, review and monitor policy implementation.

Specifically, the province's transparency index in 2024 ranked 17/63 provinces and cities, with 7.25 points, up 1.06 points and 29 ranks compared to 2023, higher than the national average (6.46 points), achieving the 2024 plan target (ranked 25/63). In 2024, this is an index that has improved strongly in both score and ranking compared to 2023.
