Details of the newly launched 2026 Toyota Camry Nightshade Edition

The 2026 Toyota Camry sedan is expected to arrive at US dealerships this summer, but official pricing has not been announced.

The 2025 Toyota Camry has undergone a dramatic transformation as it enters a new generation. Now, the Japanese automaker continues to reveal some upgrades for this D-class sedan in the US market. Compared to the old version, the new 2026 Toyota Camry only has minor changes.

A notable highlight is the appearance of the new Toyota Camry Nightshade Edition 2026. It can be said that this is an attractive choice for those who love the mysterious and individual all-black style.

True to its name, the Toyota Camry Nightshade is equipped with a series of Midnight Black Metallic painted details such as the grille, rearview mirror covers, door handles, rear spoiler, air intakes, small front spoiler and rear diffuser.

Not stopping there, the car is also equipped with 19-inch wheels and Toyota logos painted in black "tone-on-tone". The above details create a prominent highlight when combined with the car's Ice Cap white or Supersonic Red paint color. If the buyer wants to own a completely dark car, they can choose Midnight Black Metallic paint for the exterior area.

Inside, the Toyota Camry Nightshade's interior continues to sport a sporty style with black SofTex synthetic leather seats and contrasting white stitching. The "heart" of the new Nightshade version is a hybrid powertrain consisting of a 2.4L gasoline engine, an electric motor and a small lithium-ion battery.

The front-wheel drive configuration produces a total of 225 horsepower. Meanwhile, the AWD version adds an electric motor to the rear axle, bringing the total output to 232 horsepower. Despite their power, both versions are impressively fuel-efficient, with an estimated consumption of 5.11 liters / 100 km in urban, highway and combined driving.

In addition to the Nightshade version, the 2026 Toyota Camry for the US market also gets a slight upgrade in paint color. Accordingly, the SE, XLE and XSE versions will have a new paint color called Dark Cosmos. This is a deep smoky blue color that the company uses phrases like "sexy and hazy" to describe.

The 2026 Toyota Camry sedan is expected to arrive at U.S. dealerships this summer. Pricing will be announced closer to launch. The current version of the D-segment sedan starts at $28,700, not including a $1,135 destination charge.
