Give opinions on the allocation of personnel from the central level to local levels for candidacy in the 16th National Assembly.

On the morning of December 15th, Comrade Do Van Chien, Standing Vice Chairman of the National Assembly, Standing Vice Chairman of the National Election Council, and Head of the Personnel Subcommittee, chaired the second meeting of the subcommittee.

The Standing Vice Chairman of the National Assembly , Standing Vice Chairman of the National Election Council, and Head of the Personnel Subcommittee, Do Van Chien, delivered a speech.

At the meeting, Comrade Do Van Chien stated that, according to the Law on Election of National Assembly Deputies and People's Council Deputies, the National Election Council has the duty and authority to determine and announce the number of electoral units for National Assembly deputies, the list of electoral units, and the number of National Assembly deputies to be elected in each electoral unit.

Based on the assigned tasks, and in accordance with the working regulations and work program, the Personnel Subcommittee held its second meeting to prepare the content to be submitted to the National Election Council for the determination and announcement of the number of electoral units for National Assembly representatives; the list of electoral units and the number of National Assembly representatives to be elected in each electoral unit in the provinces and cities; and the allocation of candidates from the central level to the localities to run for the 16th National Assembly.

At the meeting, the Personnel Subcommittee reviewed and commented on the National Election Council's submission regarding the resolution on the principles for allocating candidates from the central level to local levels for the 16th National Assembly elections; and reviewed and commented on the submission to the National Election Council of a resolution on the number of electoral units, the list of electoral units, and the number of National Assembly representatives to be elected in each electoral unit of the provinces and cities.
