Chu Pah (Gia Lai): Developing human resources for community tourism

The community tourism model in Ia Mo Nong commune attracts thousands of domestic and foreign tourists to visit and experience every year.

At the training course, the trainees were informed by the reporter about the basic contents of legal documents, introduced the model and guided on selecting, building points, and ways to organize business establishments to welcome community tourism, agricultural and rural tourism. At the same time, shared lessons and experiences in developing community-based agricultural and rural tourism.

Through the training course, the aim is to equip knowledge and skills for the management team of the National Target Program, village and hamlet officials and local people on developing agricultural tourism and community tourism in building new rural areas.

At the same time, improve the quality and effectiveness of program implementation associated with promoting the potential of agricultural production, traditional craft villages, and local cultural values ​​in a sustainable, inclusive, and multi-value direction. Along with that, help organizations, individuals, and units in the area have orientation in the process of implementing tourism.

Trainees attending the training course were equipped with useful knowledge about community tourism, agriculture, and rural areas.

Mr. Nguyen Cong Son - Head of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Chu Pah district informed: This is one of the activities under Sub-project 2, Project 3 "Promoting business start-ups, startups and attracting investment in ethnic minority and mountainous areas" under the National Target Program on socio -economic development of ethnic minority and mountainous areas of Chu Pah district in 2024.

In the near future, the district will continue to organize 2 training courses in Ha Tay and Chu Dang Ya communes, with 100 trainees who are commune officials, cooperatives, members of the community tourism group, and owners of agricultural farms in the district. The training courses will take place in localities with rich potential and development in community tourism, agriculture, and rural areas. Thereby, contributing to helping localities develop the smokeless industry, increase people's income, and develop the rural economy in a sustainable manner.
