Advanced examples in poverty reduction shared during the exchange.

Sharing at the exchange, Mr. Doan Van Vinh, Chairman of the People's Committee of Vo Lao Commune, Van Ban District, Lao Cai Province said that when implementing the emulation movement for the poor, most poor households relied on the government's expectations. Identifying this as an important political task, the locality has developed a plan to sustainably reduce poverty and called for socialized support. Up to now, Vo Lao Commune has the lowest poverty rate in the whole district at 2.1%.

"The key to this is how to make the poor understand the policy, understand that only they can help themselves escape poverty, thereby creating livelihoods and diversifying livelihoods for households," said the Chairman of the People's Committee of Vo Lao commune.

Taking advantage of that, the locality has attracted many tourists, promoting tourism in every household. Taking the rich cultural identity of the Muong and Thai people to create its own identity, showing the position of the locality on the Vietnamese tourism map.
