Yen Bai - On the afternoon of June 2, in Hai Phong City, the Yen Bai Provincial Delegation led by Comrade Tran Huy Tuan - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Yen Bai Provincial People's Committee paid a courtesy visit to the Chief of the Navy Command. Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Bong - Secretary of the Party Committee, Political Commissar of the Navy chaired the reception.

The delegation included comrade Nguyen Minh Tuan - Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Propaganda Department of Yen Bai Provincial Party Committee; leaders of departments, branches and sectors of Yen Bai province.

Attending the reception were Rear Admiral Pham Van Luyen - Secretary of the Party Committee of the Political Department, Deputy Chief of Political Affairs of the Navy and functional agencies of the Command.

At the reception, Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Bong informed the delegation about the work of building the Navy; the recent situation of the sea and islands and the task of protecting the sovereignty of the sea and islands of the Fatherland, of which the Navy is the core force.

The Navy Political Commissar thanked the Party Committee, government, army and people of Yen Bai province for the affection of the Navy; the sea and islands of the Fatherland. He highly appreciated the coordination of sea and island propaganda between the Navy Party Committee and Yen Bai Provincial Party Committee over the past 4 years. Notably, the coordination of sea and island propaganda between the Navy Political Department and the Yen Bai Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department with many practical and meaningful activities, such as: sea and island propaganda; building gratitude houses; bringing Yen Bai province delegations to visit Truong Sa. From there, it contributed to spreading the love for the sea and islands to all classes of people in Yen Bai province.

Speaking at the reception, comrade Tran Huy Tuan thanked the Navy Command for its warm welcome and shared: Through the coordination of propaganda work on seas and islands with the Navy, focusing on the coordination between the Yen Bai Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department and the Navy's Political Department, the Party Committee, government, army and people of Yen Bai province have a better understanding and love of the seas, islands and officers and soldiers of the Navy.

With its responsibility, Yen Bai will continue to direct the provincial authorities to closely coordinate with the Navy authorities to organize practical activities towards the sea, islands of the Fatherland and the Navy soldiers so that Navy officers and soldiers, especially officers and soldiers in Truong Sa, can rest assured to stay at the forefront of the waves and winds of the Fatherland.
