On March 6, Ward 2 Police, Tan Binh District, are investigating the incident where iron balls were fired into about 20 households on Lam Son Street, causing property damage.

According to the locals, every time the police come to check, this action stops for a few days, then continues. When the perpetrator of the incident is not discovered, they feel uneasy.

Occasionally, he heard the sound of iron balls flying into houses, causing noise. He hid behind a tree to avoid them, afraid of being hit.

According to Mr. Su, at noon on March 5, a woman drove a 4-seater car to park in front of the coffee shop to get a drink. At this time, iron ball bullets continued to fly. Some bullets were fired into the car, breaking the rear window.

Upon discovering the incident, the female car owner called her husband and reported it to the insurance agent. "They said they would report it to the police. I don't know if they did or not. A few days ago, a shoe shiner was also shot in the leg with an iron ball and was bruised," said Mr. Su.

According to the male security guard, more than a month ago, people reported to the police about the shooting of iron balls in the area. The police went down to check but did not find the culprit. About 3 days later, the shooting of iron balls recurred until now.

"Yesterday, a car had its window shot and it broke. The person who caused the incident must have been scared so he did not dare to shoot anymore," Ms. Thuy said.

According to Ms. Thuy, every time they heard the sound of iron balls hitting the corrugated iron roof, everyone went into their houses to hide. The residential area near Tan Son Nhat airport has been like this for a month now, everyone is upset.

"Lam Son Street has a lot of vehicles and pedestrians, if the shooting of iron balls continues, it will be very dangerous. On January 25, people reported the incident to the police. Yesterday (March 5), people continued to report the incident to the police," said Ms. Thuy.
