Preparing conditions to organize activities at the Ca Mau Crab Festival - 2nd time in 2025

On the afternoon of October 27, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Van Su, Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Steering Committee, Organizing Committee of the Ca Mau Crab Festival - 2nd time in 2025 and the event "Hello Ca Mau" chaired a meeting with the Art Council advising on performing arts activities for the period 2025 - 2027 (Art Council) and related units to prepare conditions for organizing art activities at the Ca Mau Crab Festival - 2nd time in 2025.

The meeting approved the stage design, arrangement of display and exhibition space, script for the opening and closing art program of the 2nd Ca Mau Crab Festival in 2025 (Festival).

At the meeting, delegates highly appreciated the content of the script for the opening and closing art programs of the Festival; at the same time, requested the author to continue to review, supplement, edit, and perfect the script; research and supplement the Ca Mau crab dance scene, combine sound and light in the opening and closing parts of the opening program, in order to deepen and highlight the impression of Ca Mau crab in the hearts of every visitor when coming to the Festival; consider and arrange the stage with an appropriate scale, serving throughout the Festival; expand the display and exhibition space and have a separate area for cuisine . In addition, it is necessary to consider the plan for parking, traffic regulation, and ensuring safety for people and visitors participating in the Festival.

Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Van Su highly appreciated the preparation work of relevant departments, branches, units as well as the script author; at the same time, requested the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to coordinate with the author to select and absorb comments from delegates and the Art Council to complete the opening and closing scripts; propose design plans and stage arrangements with appropriate scale, ensuring efficiency and cost savings.

With not much time left to prepare, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Van Su requested that units have specific plans and schedules for each work content, closely coordinate with relevant units, mobilize local forces, especially singers, artists, and actors; urgently complete the stage design plan, arrange the exhibition space and related content, report to the Steering Committee and the Organizing Committee for comments, ensure careful preparation of conditions for the successful organization of the Festival, leaving a good impression in the hearts of people and tourists.
