At around 5:00 p.m. this afternoon (October 28), a landslide continued to occur on National Highway 28B, passing through Doc Da village, Phan Son commune, Lam Dong province, causing traffic disruption on this route. Due to the effects of prolonged heavy rain, soil and rocks on the mountain slid down onto the road under construction, making it impossible for vehicles to pass through this location.

Immediately after the incident, the People's Committee of Phan Son commune mobilized police and military forces to coordinate with the construction unit to deploy measures to overcome the incident. By about 6:00 p.m. this afternoon, the incident had been basically resolved, and traffic was back to normal in both directions.

According to the forecast of the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, in the next few days, there will be more heavy rains on a large scale, and the risk of landslides will continue to be complicated. Drivers traveling on mountain passes through Lam Dong province need to be more vigilant to ensure safety.
