Carefully prepare the opening ceremony of Quang Nam Culture

The opening ceremony took place on the evening of June 6, broadcast live from 5:00 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. The main content included announcing the heritage of “Folk knowledge about Quang noodles” and introducing Quang Nam tourism through films and art.

At the meeting, Ms. Duong Nu Hoang Anh - Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Quang Nam Newspaper and Radio and Television Station said that because the program has a fixed live broadcast time, participating units need to calculate every minute and second accurately.

The entire script must be assigned a specific time frame for each act, leaving no room for error as it will affect the television waves of the affiliated stations. A test run of the entire program on the afternoon of June 6 is a mandatory requirement to review the technical system, coordinate machinery, sound, lighting and stage effects.

Mr. Van Ba Son - Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism said that although the opening ceremony only took place in a short time, it was organized on a large scale, both ceremonial and ensuring high performance.

The highlight was the announcement of “Folk knowledge about Quang noodles” as a national intangible cultural heritage - an event that was supposed to be held in 2023 but was chosen at this time to increase its impact. In addition, the program also introduced tourism promotional films and art performances imbued with the cultural identity of Quang Nam.

The Provincial Cultural Center coordinated with Gami Joint Stock Company to be in charge of staging content, techniques and stage effects. The opening program is expected to welcome about 250 central and local delegates, including representatives of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

“The opening ceremony is an important highlight, opening a series of activities lasting nearly a month, spread across Hoi An City, Tam Ky City, Nam Tra My District..., contributing to honoring cultural heritage, promoting tourism potential and promoting the cultural and sports values of Quang Nam on a national scale,” said Mr. Son.
