These are the overall approach directions, with key solutions to resolve the conflicts and overlaps between economic development and ocean conservation and protection," said Mr. Toan.

On this occasion, Deputy Minister Le Minh Ngan called on ministries, branches, localities, businesses and people, press and media agencies, and social organizations to proactively and actively act for the environment in all socio-economic development plans; pioneer in innovating production models, developing environmentally friendly materials to replace plastic; accompany in education and communication work to change behavior, promote green lifestyles and sustainable consumption.
The Ministry of Agriculture and Environment expects that blue ocean economic models will spread widely, not only domestically but also internationally. The proactive and creative participation of organizations, businesses, communities and individuals is the driving force to realize a healthy - safe - resilient and sustainable ocean.
Along with that, the series of activities responding to World Environment Day (June 5) and the Month of Action for the Environment in 2025 continue to be a strong reminder of the dangers of plastic waste, warning about the plastic waste disaster, especially in the oceans, rivers, coastal areas and urban life.
