Singers perform at the closing ceremony and introduction of the song "Non Thieng Bach Ma"

The 2020 - 2025 term is a special journey for the music industry of the ancient capital. Natural disasters, epidemics and daily difficulties constantly challenge, but the artists have overcome all to create more than 500 works. Many works spread in the community with valuable effects that directly impact the artistic life. These achievements are thanks to the solidarity, clear creative goals and steadfast ideology of the artists.

The Executive Board of the Hue City Music Association closely coordinates with individuals, organizations and units from the central to local levels to organize social activities, contributing to composition, research, training and performance, serving the community and local cultural and political events. The Association joins hands to organize many composition camps for members in Hue, and participates in composition campaigns of the Central and the Federation of Associations.

The performances have spread through commemorative programs and community programs, such as commemorating the birth and death anniversary of the late musician Trinh Cong Son; Vietnam Music Day; programs introducing new works in Hue , Huong Tra, Phu Loc; introducing new works on television, music programs welcoming Hue to become a city directly under the Central Government... Many members have won awards and certificates of merit from the Central and local levels, typically musicians Duong Bich Ha, Doan Phuong Hai, Le Quang Vu, Nguyen Duc Thanh, Van Den...

Musician Le Chi Quoc Anh, Chairman of the Hue City Music Association, confided: “This is a period of sublimation in music theory, criticism and training with many works and music teaching curricula of members being completed, put into teaching and enriching the treasure trove of Vietnamese music research, especially Hue traditional music.”

The association's official website is built to regularly update the works and projects of its members. The association coordinates and cooperates with channels to promote works; coordinates with the Vietnam Music Copyright Protection Center to protect the rights of its members. Looking back over the past 5 years, it can be affirmed that the efforts of the association's Executive Committee as well as each individual member have left an impression in the hearts of those who love and appreciate their achievements.

There have been songs that have become popular thanks to their spread on social networks, or simply because the melody and lyrics have resonated with countless people. This can be clearly seen in the songs about Bach Ma composed by musicians in the “Non Thieng Bach Ma” composition camp, or the songs written in the “Phu Loc Tinh Ca” composition camp… These songs started from the place where they were composed, then gradually spread everywhere. The musicians used their lyrics and singing to touch the hearts of the audience, bringing the beauty of their homeland and country everywhere.
