In his opening speech, comrade Tran Song Tung, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized that in today's modern life, with the strong development of science and technology, mass-produced industrial products, diverse designs, and low prices have been overwhelming core indigenous values. Many craft villages are facing the risk of extinction such as lack of successors, narrowing markets, products that are difficult to compete, and traditional techniques that are at risk of being lost and forgotten.
In many cases, consumers have turned their backs on traditional products due to lack of connection, lack of emotion, lack of innovation in product design and quality. Many craft villages are struggling in the vortex between preserving their identity and adapting to the modern market. Without timely solutions, the values that used to be symbols of culture will gradually fade into the past, the "soul" of the profession, the "root" of traditional culture will face great challenges, making it difficult for the elderly and unstable income artisans and craftsmen to stick with the profession.
The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized that connecting heritage with craft villages and bringing traditional products into the tourism journey not only contributes to enhancing the experience of tourists, but also creates livelihoods, retains young people in the profession, and contributes to building a model of sustainable tourism development, taking culture as the foundation, people as the center, and the community as the subject.
After nearly 2 months of active implementation, with the advice, technical support, and dedication of units, designers, and businesses, especially the responsible participation of craft villages and artisans, the program "Heritage for Life" has officially come into operation.

Thereby, contributing to promoting the image of Ninh Binh with rich identity, friendliness, innovation; promoting the revival of traditional craft villages, which are both places to preserve the memories of our ancestors and to inspire ideas, creativity and provide livelihoods for people to firmly step into a new era, an era of national growth.
