The story Minh Rau (Hong Minh) told about his life attracted public attention. "After 3 days of knowing his wife, his parents-in-law heard about her reputation and forbade them from dating her. Every time I came to visit, I asked "Is Kim Anh home?", even though my wife was washing dishes in the back, but my parents-in-law said she was out. I just sat there "acting on my own", making tea and drinking, then after a while I saw my wife come up" - he recounted.

During the time they "ran away together", the couple suffered a lot because they "didn't have a penny in their pockets" and were forced to live in a friend's fish pond. Hong Minh also had to borrow money from friends around him to make ends meet. After a month of wandering, his father-in-law called and said: "Come back, I'll marry you."

The couple ran away because their love was forbidden.

The couple's married life was full of hardships and challenges. Hong Minh had to work far away on a construction site to earn money to take care of his wife and children. The couple's first child suffered from jaundice, forcing Kim Anh to sell her earrings and wedding necklace to pay for his treatment. "We were afraid of being criticized in the countryside, so when we gave birth, we hid it from our parents. When we had to sell everything and had no money left, we called our parents. They came and then I took the baby back to my parents' house" - Kim Anh, Minh Rau's wife, confided.

During their time together, Hong Minh and Kim Anh had many conflicts like any other couple. When he was young, Hong Minh often drank and played around, which made Kim Anh angry and wanted to take her child back to her parents' house. After losing a lot of money gambling, Hong Minh woke up and gradually became a proper husband and father.

" At that time, I earned several million dong a day selling vegetables, but I spent all of it on gambling and had nothing to save. I decided to change and focus on work. Now, looking back, I see that I have changed over the past 7-8 years," said Hong Minh.

Minh Rau tells the story of his wife curing her philandering habit

Minh Rau admits that he has really changed a lot, but he still has some shortcomings, such as speaking harshly to his wife or having a "womanizing" habit. " Sometimes I go to karaoke with my friends, usually calling some girls to press the buttons and drink beer. Suddenly my wife appears and slaps me, making me dizzy. I was holding a glass of beer, so I just drank it all to avoid embarrassment, and the other girls ran away." - Hong Minh revealed.

Minh Rau's wife said she hopes her husband will be less dry, more delicate and romantic. In return, Hong Minh hopes his wife will be... less hot-tempered.
