Coach Nguyen Hong Pham said: “This tournament helps the HCMC Women’s Club develop more strongly in the continental arena. We will try our best in each match to be able to complete our goal.”

Ho Chi Minh City Women's Club has a big advantage at the "Asian Cup C1"
In this tournament, Ho Chi Minh City Women's Club has added 6 foreign players to have the best preparation.
“We recently added 6 foreign players, including 4 who played in the previous tournament and 2 new players. They have integrated very well into the team and I am happy about this,” said coach Nguyen Hong Pham.
Captain Huynh Nhu also shared: “In addition to the 4 foreign players who played last season, the 2 new players also integrated very quickly with their teammates. I hope the foreign players will bring a new breeze to the HCMC Women's Club at the tournament.”
In the 2024/25 Asian Women's Club season, the Ho Chi Minh City women's team reached the semi-finals, so everyone really wants to know the specific goals of the Ho Chi Minh City women's team.

Regarding this, Coach Nguyen Hong Pham said: "This season we will definitely put our achievements as far as possible, especially trying to surpass the old achievement of Ho Chi Minh City Club in the previous season."
Last year, Ho Chi Minh City FC advanced from the group stage after two wins and one loss. In the quarter-finals, they beat Abu Dhabi Country Club from the UAE 5-4, then lost 0-2 to Wuhan Jiangda Club (China) in the semi-finals.
With careful preparation and home field advantage, fans expect Ho Chi Minh City Club to continue to repeat their achievement of reaching the semi-finals or even further.
