According to the proposal of Quang Nam Club, the leaders of the City People's Committee and the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Da Nang are interested in directing the search and invitation of local businesses to establish a club with football sponsors who are fully capable, enthusiastic and committed to the development of top-level football and maintain sustainability to continue accompanying Quang Nam Football Club and Quang Nam Youth Football Training Center. Thereby, maintaining in the Tam Ky area and neighboring communes and wards in the south of Da Nang City a professional - top-level football playground to contribute to improving the spiritual life of the people, while promoting the development of the tourism - sports economy.
In the absence of a new sponsor, Quang Nam Football Development City Company will dissolve to merge with SHB Da Nang Sports Joint Stock Company. Thereby effectively focusing resources from the state budget to support youth football and focus on developing and restructuring the new Da Nang professional club into a football team rich in Quang - Da local tradition, with sufficient sustainable resources for development, worthy of being a typical representative of the new Da Nang city on the map of professional football in Vietnam.
Along with that, Quang Nam Football Development Company proposed to transfer all staff, workers, athletes, and young players of Quang Nam Football Development Joint Stock Company, Quang Nam Club, and Quang Nam Youth Football Training Center to SHB Da Nang Sports Joint Stock Company for receipt and management.

What did the leader of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Da Nang say?
This move shows that the future of the Quang Nam football team has not been decided yet and everything is still in a waiting state. Even the leaders of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Da Nang cannot comment.
Mr. Tao Viet Hai - Deputy Director of the Department said that up to this point, the city leaders as well as the Department have not received any official documents from Quang Nam Football Development City Company regarding the dissolution and merger of the football team.
“We only know the information through the press and have not received any official documents or proposals from the Quang Nam Football Development City Company. Since yesterday, city leaders and many people interested in the future of the team have asked us, but we really do not have any official information so we cannot answer,” said Mr. Hai.
Meanwhile, right after the meeting with the company's leaders ended on the afternoon of July 21, Coach Van Sy Son and many Quang Nam players held a farewell party and many also left Tam Ky that night. In a related move, although being the host of the Thien Long Tournament - Thai Group Cup 2025 training tournament, whether Quang Nam Club will continue to compete or not is still open because up to this point, both the coaching staff and the players are no longer in the mood to compete and whether the team has enough players to play or not is still unknown.
