Girl in critical condition after breast implants and jaw surgery

Ho Chi Minh City: A 26-year-old woman suddenly suffered a brain hemorrhage and fell into a critical coma after undergoing breast implant surgery, jaw angle reduction, cheekbone reduction, and wisdom tooth extraction at Van Hanh General Hospital.

On the afternoon of January 10, Dr. Le Nguyen Nhut Tin, Deputy Head of the Department of Neurology, Cho Ray Hospital, said that the girl was transferred to the emergency room in a state of needing a resuscitation balloon to help her breathe, and respiratory support... Doctors consulted and determined that the patient had a severe brain hemorrhage, and was treated with a ventilator, vasopressors, and drugs to limit the spread of the lesion.

"After 24 hours in the hospital, the patient's condition still shows no signs of improvement, the prognosis is very serious," the doctor said.

Inspectors of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health went to Van Hanh General Hospital to seal medical records and investigate the case.

A hospital representative said that a professional council meeting is underway to evaluate the case. It is currently unclear why the girl fell into critical condition.
