Opportunity to promote unique traditional puppetry art to audiences

On the morning of October 29, the Vietnam Puppetry Theatre signed two performance contracts with The Stage VN Company Limited; HTD Group Joint Stock Company.

The signing ceremony took place within the framework of the programs at the first Autumn Fair - 2025. The total value of the two contracts is 21 billion VND.

The contract between the Vietnam Puppetry Theatre and The Stage VN Company Limited is worth 20 billion VND. The second contract between the Vietnam Puppetry Theatre and HTD Group Joint Stock Company is worth 1 billion VND.

People's Artist Nguyen Tien Dung, Director of the Vietnam Puppetry Theatre, shared: "This is a valuable opportunity for us to continue promoting the unique traditional art of puppetry to domestic audiences, international friends and to reach tourist areas, which is something we have long desired."

According to People's Artist Nguyen Tien Dung, in recent times, the Vietnam Puppetry Theatre has maintained daily performances to serve tourists when they come to Hanoi . In addition, the Theatre has also expanded to a number of other performance venues. In recent years, many partners, investors and traditional art lovers have shown interest in and sought cooperation with the Vietnam Puppetry Theatre.

“With our role and characteristics, we hope that many units and partners will recognize the true value of culture in modern life, especially in the work of introducing and promoting Vietnamese culture to the world ,” said People's Artist Nguyen Tien Dung.

Meanwhile, Mr. Nguyen Dang Quang Vinh - Executive Director of The Stage VN Company Limited said he wants to bring customers complete values in terms of living, culture and entertainment, especially at the rapidly developing tourist destinations across Vietnam.

According to Mr. Vinh, water puppetry is not just a performance, but the crystallization of love for the profession, of the artist's soul conveyed through each puppet and each performance.

“I hope that in the coming time, the tourism industry and water puppetry will have more opportunities to cooperate, to both develop performing activities to serve tourists and help tourists bring back unique traditional cultural products of Vietnam as gifts, beautiful memories, and also as a way to spread the image of the country and people of Vietnam to international friends,” Mr. Vinh shared.

Mr. Nguyen Dang Tuan, General Director of HTD Group Joint Stock Company, said: “When I went directly to the Theater to watch the performances, I felt the artistic atmosphere was much more wonderful than what I had ever imagined. That is what made me deeply in tune with the mission that Wolfoo World amusement park is aiming for, which is to nurture the qualities and preserve the Vietnamese cultural identity for the young generation."

Mr. Tuan shared that he wanted to bring the traditional cultural and artistic values of Vietnam closer to his customers, especially children from 3 to 10 years old, who are the future buds of the country. Mr. Tuan hopes that through these experiences, the children will understand better and feel proud of Vietnamese culture and art.

“Through this cooperation, we hope to work with the Vietnam Puppetry Theatre and handicraft artisans to spread traditional cultural values, bringing Vietnamese creative products closer to domestic people and international friends,” said Mr. Tuan./.
