Provincial Police held a conference to provide information on draft laws drafted by the Ministry of Public Security.

On the afternoon of May 9, the Provincial Police Department held a conference to provide information on draft laws drafted by the Ministry of Public Security , submitted to the 15th National Assembly for approval and comments at the 7th session in 2024. Attending were members of the Provincial Party Committee: Tran Minh Luc, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Chamaléa Thi Thuy, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission; representatives of the leaders of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, departments, branches and organizations. Colonel Huynh Tan Hanh, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Director of the Provincial Police Department chaired the conference.

Implementing the Government's Law-making Program, the Ministry of Public Security was assigned to preside over and co-preside over the drafting of 10 Law projects, of which 6 Law projects were included in the agenda of the 7th Session of the 15th tenure by the National Assembly and the National Assembly Standing Committee, including: Law on Road Traffic Order and Safety; Law on Amending and Supplementing a Number of Articles of the Law on Security Guards; Law on Prevention and Combat of Human Trafficking (amended); Law on Management and Use of Weapons, Explosives and Support Tools (amended); Law on National Defense Industry, Security and Industrial Mobilization; (6) Law on Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Rescue.

At the conference, delegates were provided with key information on 6 draft laws drafted by the Ministry of Public Security. On that basis, delegates discussed many opinions to clarify the necessity of developing and promulgating 6 draft laws and the position, role and importance of the draft laws in social life in general and in the work of ensuring security and order in particular. Thereby, delegates basically agreed and highly appreciated the draft laws, at the same time supplemented some theoretical and practical bases for the development of 6 draft laws, and proposed directions to urgently complete these draft laws in the coming time to submit to the National Assembly.
