Opening of the 2nd Exhibition and Display of Ornamental Plants in Buon Ma Thuot City in 2025

On April 29th, the People's Committee of Buon Ma Thuot City organized the opening ceremony of the 2nd Ornamental Plants Exhibition and Display, 2025.

The exhibition features nearly 1,000 works such as bonsai, rocks, driftwood, and wood carvings from organizations and individuals from ornamental plant associations and nurseries in the province and some neighboring provinces and cities.

Delegates performed the ribbon-cutting ceremony to officially open the exhibition.

The exhibition will include activities such as: a bird-keeping competition; cultural and artistic programs; a gong-playing cultural exchange; and a celebratory evening commemorating the 50th anniversary of the liberation of Southern Vietnam and national reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025) with the theme "The Nation's Complete Joy".

The exhibition is a meaningful and practical activity aimed at creating opportunities for people and tourists to visit and admire unique artistic bonsai trees and diverse stone art pieces in terms of design, color, and shape.

Representatives of the Provincial Ornamental Plants Association presented membership certificates to the Buon Ma Thuot City Ornamental Plants Association to artisans and gardeners.

This is also an opportunity for members of the ornamental plant association and gardeners to interact, learn, and exchange experiences in caring for ornamental plants, ensuring aesthetic appeal and technical efficiency to achieve high economic returns. From there, they can build models and craft villages, connect with markets for product consumption, contribute to spreading and attracting more members to the association, and promote the development of the ornamental plant movement in Buon Ma Thuot City in particular and Dak Lak province in general.

The 2nd Buon Ma Thuot City Ornamental Plants Exhibition in 2025 is one of the activities aimed at achieving accomplishments to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025); the 138th anniversary of International Labor Day (May 1, 1887 - May 1, 2025) and other major holidays in 2025.
